EMILY MAIOCCO, Owner & Certified Professional Organizer

When it comes to organization, I love it all! I love when my clients get excited about the way their kitchens function or how they feel lighter once the paper piles are gone and they can now see their desks. I love creating systems that are intuitive for even the youngest members of the household. As a wife and mom of two young children I "get" busy households and I thrive on helping my clients find systems that work for them in their homes.

I am proud to be one of only a handful of Certified Professional Organizers® in the state of Connecticut and am committed to learning and growing as this industry continues to change. Prior to my organizing career, I enjoyed a rewarding career in the fashion industry managing brands on tight deadlines. In 2007 I left my cozy New York City apartment behind to come back to my roots in Connecticut. I soon found my passion in the organizing field and in 2009 Organized Interiors by Emily was born. As my business grew, we also outgrew our name and NEXT LEVEL organizing emerged.

I have worked with hundreds of clients as they conquer their own tight spaces, cluttered corners, room challenges, life changes, and new homes. I look forward to hearing from you and working together to make your home a place where things run smoothly so you have more time for the fun stuff in your life.

SHANNON, Professional Organizer

Originally from northern Connecticut by way of Chicago and Houston, Shannon lives in Rye, New York, with her identical twin sons, baby daughter, husband and the hockey equipment that’s part and parcel of life with them. Growing up, Shannon was the friend to call if you needed to rearrange your bedroom or sought to create a color coded schedule of college classes. With a sharp eye for detail, wedding planning and the accompanying spreadsheets were a delight!

Over the years Shannon honed her organizational skill set through work in public and college libraries, years in a flower shop and eventually through a decade of work as a special education teacher. With degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education, much of Shannon’s focus with students and their families involved the development of organizational systems to promote learning and manage workload, resources and time.

Once she became a mother of multiples, Shannon quickly appreciated how organized, efficient spaces could drastically impact and improve family life. The hectic juggle of work, school and activities is her reality and now she blends her family and work experiences into her passion as a professional organizer. Shannon thrives on developing sustainable solutions and systems that are customized for each client’s unique needs.

DESTINIE, Professional Organizer

Originally from Maine, Destinie has been organizing her whole life. Even as a child, she had her closet arranged by color simply because she enjoyed the aesthetic of it. She has always been innately fond of simplifying her external environment because it tends to support an internal sense of calm.

Destinie studied choreography in college, which help to deepen her spatial awareness and appreciation for balance. She taught dance for 10 years before becoming a professional organizer over 3 years ago.

She is able to meet clients where they are in their organizational needs, and is equally at home in a basement as she is in a master closet. She especially enjoys working with clients on multi-faceted projects that involve entire home organizing make-overs. She enjoys the one-on-one and confidentiality that is required to make significant changes to meet goals in client’s homes.
Destinie lives in Scarsdale with her 3 children and pet bird. She has one child in elementary school, one in middle school and a high school student (!!) so she understands first hand the challenges of managing a busy household, and the need for functional systems to help with the flow of daily life. She is constantly exploring details and trends in organizing, and is thoughtful when it comes to helping clients find solutions for their organizing challenges.

SARAH, Professional Organizer

Sarah loves helping people find peace, efficiency and order in their daily lives through her work as an organizer. She thrives in solving the puzzles of creating systems and space - and especially loves a challenge! She appreciates that her job introduces her to many different types of people, and that every day is unique.

Sarah has always organized her friends and families homes for pleasure, and started professionally organizing while living in NYC. Before that, Sarah earned a Masters degree in Art History and worked for a decade in NYC independent schools in development and communications. After 15 years on the Upper West Side, she and her family made the move Connecticut in 2020. She loves spending time with her husband, daughter and son at the many beaches in and around Fairfield.

Sarah was excited to continue her passion for organizing in Connecticut by joining the team at Next Level Organizing. While the real estate in the suburbs is quite different, the same principles of decluttering, finding places for everything, and creating systems so that everything can easily return to its place, still apply.

ALI, Organizer + Team Support

A Fairfield County native, Ali spent 13 years working for Hedge Funds and Wealth Advisors where client relations and office management were her priority.  While her background is in the fast paced finance world, her passion has always been organizing and DIY projects at home.  In owning and managing multiple homes over the past 17 years, a "fixer upper" has always been an exciting part of the process.  Most of her knowledge and life experience in home ownership and maintenance was passed down from her father who never missed an opportunity for a "teaching moment" around the house.

Now as a mother of two, she appreciates what an organized space can do for a busy family.  She is thankful for growing up in an environment where everything had its place and a system.  Ali is truly a jack of all trades and we are so lucky she supports our team in so many ways both on-site and off.

KATE, Professional Organizer

Kate loves organizing! It’s a part of who she is. Growing up in Connecticut, Kate fondly remembers spending weekends cleaning and organizing her room, which often included rearranging her furniture to find the optimal layout - with her collection of stuffed animals laid out “just so”.

Kate spent most of her career in administrative and management roles, which allowed her to utilize both her organizational skills and her love for genuinely connecting with people while supporting them in meeting their goals. Now, as a devoted wife and mom of three children, she uses her nurturing and caring personality and her love for structuring a peaceful household setting to keep her family functioning and thriving. Through her years as a professional organizer, Kate has come to believe that the best gift she can give a client is a sense of peace and contentment in their home.

INGRID, Professional Organizer + Project Coordinator

Growing up in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, Ingrid and her three older brothers were raised by an engineer and an artist, who kept their upbringing interesting with an abundance of art projects, DIY home renovations, encyclopedias at the dinner table, and plenty of joyful chaos. Ingrid brings motivation and enthusiasm to the team with her positive spirit and passion for serving others.

Ingrid graduated from St. Lawrence University with a major in psychology and a minor in art. Her career has included interior design work for a renowned local interior designer as well as being a licensed Connecticut Realtor. When she’s not working, Ingrid enjoys being surrounded by nature, especially during the Winter months, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and spending quality time with family and friends. A true blend of her upbringing and experiences, Ingrid loves a good brain teaser and is ready to find a creative solution!
