EMILY MAIOCCO, Owner & Certified Professional Organizer
When it comes to organization, I love it all! I love when my clients get excited about the way their kitchens function or how they feel lighter once the paper piles are gone and they can now see their desks. I love creating systems that are intuitive for even the youngest members of the household. As a wife and mom of two young children I "get" busy households and I thrive on helping my clients find systems that work for them in their homes.
I am proud to be one of only 4 Certified Professional Organizers® in the state of Connecticut and am committed to learning and growing as this industry continues to change. Prior to my organizing career, I enjoyed a rewarding career in the fashion industry managing brands on tight deadlines. In 2007 I left my cozy New York City apartment behind to come back to my roots in Connecticut. I soon found my passion in the organizing field and in 2009 Organized Interiors by Emily was born. As my business grew, we also outgrew our name and NEXT LEVEL organizing emerged.
I have worked on hundreds of projects with clients as they conquer their own tight spaces, cluttered corners, room challenges, life changes, and new homes. I look forward to hearing from you and working together to make your home a place where things run smoothly so you have more time for the fun stuff in your life.
TRICIA HOFACKER, Professional Organizer
Originally from Ohio, Tricia brings along her midwestern hospitality to all client sessions. Tricia’s background in Theater allows her to think creatively about finding solutions in any space.
While she holds a degree in Theater and Acting, her passion for organizing blossomed when she worked for several nonprofit theaters as a Company Manager. She thrived in a fast paced environment while arranging contracts, housing and travel for hundreds of Artists around the country.
Tricia sharpened her skills as an organizer while living on tour with Disney’s The Lion King and Disney’s Newsies. She was able to help others become better organized in packing and preparing for road life. Most recently, on Broadway for Disney’s The Lion King and Disney’s Aladdin, she was able to create systems to assist the Merchandise offices and stock rooms to become more efficient.
While she enjoys all aspects of organizing, she especially loves working in linen and master closets, and turning “junk drawers” into highly functional drawers. Her favorite part of organizing any space is seeing the progress our clients make each and every day as they take control of their spaces!
TRACEY ORRICO, Professional Organizer
Tracey’s mother (who can fold sheets so that they fit back into the package they came out of) is the source of her organizational inspiration. Growing up she never realized that she was organized. It was just the way things were done in her home.
Flash forward twenty years, as a wife and mom of two busy kids, she truly understands how necessary it is to be organized. Between soccer practice, gymnastics and loads and loads of laundry, Tracey feels lucky she grew up having the skills to get and stay organized so she can juggle the many joys of life with a busy family.
Much of Tracey’s career was spent managing high end boutiques. juggling staff, schedules and, most importantly, keeping customers happy. She loves organizing all spaces but truly thrives in playrooms, kids’ rooms, and pantries!
TERESA HNAT, Photo Organizer
At the age of eight Teresa received her first camera, a Kodak Star 110mm which she took everywhere. The photos may not have looked great but that camera introduced her to the amazing world of photography.
Twenty years later and she is still immersed in photography. She’s worked on both the printing and processing end as well as creating photography and graphic design in both commercial and professional portrait studios. She is a proud member of both the Professional Photographers of America as well as the Association of Personal Photo Organizers.
As her own photo collection (both printed and digital files) is immense, she understands the value and importance of putting systems into place to organize, store, and safeguard photos and documents. She feels truly honored that families trust her to help them safeguard their memories.
In addition to helping people take charge of their photos, she has a special passion for creating custom heirloom books for families so they can enjoy and share their favorite memories for years to come.
